Nathan Whittacre – President and CEO

Nathan Whittacre is the Founder and CEO of Stimulus Technologies; originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1988, making our city his new hometown. Before becoming our leader, Nathan, a born entrepreneur, founded his first business at age 11 when he started and ran a candy store for two years from his home. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science, Nathan founded Stimulus Technologies in 1995 with a goal to provide high technology solutions for his customers. His passion for innovation, analyzing hard issues, creating solutions and fixing problems has created a portfolio with a wide variety of Information Technology skills. When Nathan is not helping his customers or narrating stories of his missionary work in Peru, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, camping, running, biking, volunteering at church and flying his airplane.

Kauana Jackson – Controller

Kauana Jackson joined our team in November 2011, bringing over 15 years of management and financial experience with a bachelor’s in financial planning and counseling from Brigham Young University. Kauana’s knowledge and experience working with telecommunication companies allows her to offer exceptional customer service and understand our customers’ needs. Originally from Kailua, Hawaii, Kauana moved to Las Vegas in 1997. She received a master’s of business administration from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Kauana also spent time doing missionary work in Peru and loves Peruvian cuisine. When Kauana is not working with our customers or keeping us organized, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, playing tennis, cycling, sewing and reading.

Brian Alwood – Director of Technical Operations

Brian Alwood is Stimulus Technologies’ Director of Technical Operations. He joined the Stimulus Technologies team three years ago bringing over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, management and customer service field. Brian attended UNLV for Computer Science and worked for Dell as a trainer for five years. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Brian enjoys taking into new complex projects, completing tickets and forming long term relationships with our customers. When he is not at work Brian likes spending time with his family, camping, hiking and biking.

Taryn Copeman – Operations Manager

Taryn Copeman joined the Stimulus Technologies team in April 2014. She brings years of managing and planning experience in the hospitality, retail and distribution industries. Taryn grew up in Las Vegas but did spend a couple of years in Denver, Colorado. Taryn’s goals are to continue improving operational systems in our growing company with her contribution to strategies, policies & practices. She enjoys being the “right-hand man” to our technical staff when planning or deploying new projects. She is a mom of two sons & family time is most important to her.

Kaid Whipple – System Engineer

Kaid Whipple joined the Stimulus team in February 2016. He is originally from Alamo, NV and has lived in Nevada his entire life, except for the 2 years he lived in NJ serving a mission for his Church. Kaid has always enjoyed working on and with computers since adolescence.  He has been involved in the technology service industry since 1994 where he began as a help-desk technician in the UNLV library. While finishing his Bachelor’s degree at UNLV, he co-founded Saber Technologies, LLC in May, 2000 where for the past 16 years he learned a great deal about servicing and caring for customer’s needs. Kaid is proud to be an UNLV alumnus and to continue to give to his community. He is married to his college sweetheart and they spend most of their time (and money) raising 3 very active and involved children.

Cathy Pool – Accounting Manager

Cathy Pool joined the Stimulus Technologies team in October 2016 bringing over 15 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper.  She grew up in the Los Angeles area where she went to school for Film Making at Los Angeles City College.  After working in accounting in both Public Relations and the Fashion industry, she married and had 2 beautiful children.  She then started her own Jewelry Design company.  Cathy relocated to the Henderson area in 2008 where she worked as an Accounting and Office Manager for another local IT firm before coming to Stimulus.  When not bringing sensational customer service to our clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, being active, vacationing, reading and boating.

Alyssa LaBlanc - Technology Evangelist

Alyssa was born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley and joined the Stimulus team in January, 2019. She spent almost two years abroad in South Korea serving as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has been in sales her entire life, starting her first business as a candy shop owner in grade school with local friends and classmates. Since then she worked for numerous companies maximizing their profits and exceeding goals quarterly. Alyssa loves to travel and has been to almost every major city in the USA. She also enjoys gaining new experiences and learning new things. Her favorite trip so far was traveling cross-country from Ohio to Nevada in a motorhome she had built during her time in college. She values people and feels fortunate to learn from everyone she meets. Besides sales, her passion in life is music. In her free time, she enjoys singing harmony and recording music with her fiancé.

Sherry Lipp – Marketing Manager

Sherry Lipp joined the Stimulus team in March 2018. She grew up in Seattle and moved to the Las Vegas area at the end of 2017 with her husband. Prior to joining Stimulus she did marketing in the pro-audio industry.  Outside of work Sherry enjoys, watching movies, cooking, and exploring her new surroundings with her husband and their dog Sheila.

Lindsey Montgomery – Account Manager

Lindsey joined the Stimulus Technologies Team in October of 2016 as the Inside Sales Specialist. Originally from Sumner, WA she moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2011 for a change of pace and scenery with her now husband who also works in the IT Industry. She started her career as a receptionist/dispatcher for a Dental MSP and has worked her way up to a Sales position at Stimulus in hopes of helping clients stay competitive in their market through continuously ensuring they are taking advantage of new technology. Lindsey spends her time off baking, reading, catching movies or taking her dogs to the dog park with her husband.

Kimberly Baxter – Inside Sales

Kimberly joined the Stimulus team in October 2018. She is born and raised in Las Vegas, but currently resides in Henderson. She went to school at the College of Southern Nevada for Videography and Film but is very passionate about writing and is currently working on a screenplay. Prior to joining Stimulus, she worked in various retail environments, building her character and customer service. Kim also enjoys photography, hiking with her dogs, and cuddling with her cats.

Michael Maddy – Senior Technician Networking

Michael Maddy is Stimulus Technologies’ Senior Network Engineer. Michael was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended College of Southern Nevada for Mechanical Engineering and has experience in Project Management including 10 years in the Army Corps of Engineers. His love for computers and technology has developed into his career. Michael enjoys expanding his technical knowledge through hands-on work and real world applications. Michael runs a Subaru enthusiast community boasting a large annual car show and 1000+ members.

Jesse Estrella – Systems Administrator

Jesse Estrella joined the Stimulus team in 2016 bringing with him 8 years of experience in the MSP industry. Born in Chicago, raised in Mexico City and lived most of his life in Las Vegas. Attended ITT Technical Institute for his Associates and Bachelors degrees in Network Systems Administration and Information Systems Security. Jesse loves approaching challenges with the "Where there's a will, there is a way" mindset and is always happy to enpower his colleagues with IT knowledge. When not pleasing his clients, you'll find Jesse spending his time off with family, friends or just tinkering with new toys (PCs, servers, home automation, etc).

Dean Narimatsu - Jr. Systems Administrator

Dean joined the team in December 2015, bringing over 10 years of experience in the technology industry.  Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii, he graduated from Hawaii Community College with a degree in marketing and moved to Portland, Oregon, where he resided for 12 years.  Dean has been living in Las Vegas since 2013.  He also DJ’s at local bars and clubs, enjoys watching Mixed Martial Arts competition, traveling and eating at new restaurants with his wife.  He is also better known as the IT Ninja.

Rio Sinnott - Jr. Systems Administrator

Rio joined Stimulus Technologies in November of 2015 as a Jr. System Administrator. She is originally from Las Vegas, but went to college and grad school in California for neuroscience. She has always had a passion for computers and technology as a hobby and made this into her career. Her hobbies are reading, socializing with friends, and gaming.

Nate Jensen - Jr. Systems Administrator

Nathan Jensen joined the Stimulus Technologies team in December 2016, bringing 5 years of technical experience to the team. Originally from Valparaiso, IN , he has called Henderson his home for the past 13 years. In his time in Henderson, Nate learned excellence in customer service in a number of retail management roles. Seeking to find a career he was passionate about, Nate attended the College of Southern Nevada for computer sciences and network engineering. Since then he has previously served numerous i.t. roles in the financial and insurance industries. When Nate is not vanquishing computer issues or deploying new projects, he enjoys spending time with his family on adventures, cooking, gaming and music. Grateful to be part of an amazing team, Nate makes sure that all his clients enjoy customer service with a special touch that has become customary at Stimulus Technologies.

Fred Primm - Jr. Systems Administrator

Fred joined Stimulus Technologies in October of 2016, bringing 6 years’ experience in technical support. Fred got his Associate’s Degree in Network Engineering from Asher College, and holds 5 IT certifications. He is born and raised in Las Vegas, and has previous working experience in sales, and retail were his customer service skills were trained. In his spare time Fred enjoys watching sports ,movies, TV, and  playing video games.

Kurt Hanks - Jr. Systems Administrator

Kurt Hanks joined the Stimulus team in January 2018. When Kurt isn’t working on client networks and software systems, he lives in Pahrump with his two dogs Bandit and Shiba. Say congratulations to Kurt next time you see him because he’s getting married in October. In his spare time Kurt enjoys watching movies and rooting for the New England Patriots.

Vince Magayon - Jr. Systems Administrator

Vince Magayon joined the Stimulus in August 2018, bringing five years of support experience to the team. Vince moved to Las Vegas in 2002 from Northridge, California. He loves making genuine connections with people and turning their day around. Thanks to his older brother who showed him his first PC game in 1997, Vince developed a passion for computers and technology. He built his own custom PC in middle school where he also learned to troubleshoot and fix computer issues. When Vince isn't providing IT support, he enjoys freelance photography and visiting the national parks with his fiancé and their dog Sokka.

Jaymond Li – Jr. Systems Administrator

Jaymond first developed his interest in technology when taking his first computer course in middle school. Even at a young age, he enjoyed the problem solving skills required to troubleshoot technical problems. Originally from Brooklyn, New York he moved to California with his family in 1999 where he attended Cal State Northridge majoring in Business Administration. He worked for a major wireless provider for 6 years in California before moving to Las Vegas early 2018 to pursue a career in his true passion in IT. He became the IT administrator for a small call center before joining the Stimulus family in October 2018. In his free time he enjoys golfing and reading up on new technologies.

Grace Gonzales - Jr. Network and VoIP Administrator

Grace Gonzales joined Stimulus Technologies in September 2018. She grew up in the Philippines and moved to Las Vegas in 2011. She enjoys learning new things and improving herself. She believes that no matter where you are, there are always opportunities to be better. Her inclination to details, planning and continuous self-improvement led her to her career in IT. Her hobbies are traveling, meditating, martial arts and target-shooting. She is currently a member of Toastmasters.

Jeremy Duck - Head Field Service Technician

Jeremy joined Stimulus Technologies in November of 2018. Growing up in the Las Vegas valley, Jeremy loved to build and tinker with computers. Never being able to stay sitting for too long Jeremy goes from client to client as hands in the field to help his co-workers get work done efficiently. Jeremy's passions include sharp shooting and auto racing.

Shane O'Hara - Lead RF Technician

Growing up around his father in the Telecommunications field Shane O'Hara has been highly interested in fiber optics and network engineering. Shane O'Hara joined the Stimulus Technologies Metro Ethernet team in September of 2018, bringing in 4 years of Fiber Optics and Cable experience for the Telecommunications field. Born in Apple Valley, California and raised In Las Vegas Nevada, Shane enjoys going to the gym, canyoneering, rock climbing, traveling and mixed martial arts.

Brandon Howarth – Help Desk Technician

Brandon Howarth joined Stimulus Technologies’ Help Desk team in October of 2016, bringing his unique skill set to the help bench. Although Brandon has been working and building computers for 7 years, this is his first professional role in the IT industry. Brandon’s history in the maintenance and the customer service industries offers him a unique outlook on user issues. Brandon’s favorite part of the job is assisting clients with hard issues and repairing computer hardware. Born and Raised in Las Vegas, Brandon enjoys competitive 3 gun shooting and hiking the red rock trails.

Eric Guzman – Help Desk Specialist

Eric Guzman Joined Stimulus Technologies in December of 2018. Originally from Southern California, he moved to Las Vegas in May of 2016. Being in the mortgage industry for over 10 years and unhappy, he decided a change was needed and followed his true passion, Information Technology. He decided to go back to school and now holds three I.T. Certification. He believes it's never too late to follow your true passion. In his spare time he enjoys going to the movies with his wife and taking his 2 kids to the local jump houses.
