In the event of a security breach, Stimulus Technologies’ may block an individual end user or external IP address until the breach is resolved. Stimulus Technologies will notify the affected customer within 24 hours of the block and will work with the customer to resolve the issue that may be causing the security block. Stimulus Technologies’ may from time-to-time block specific ports, IP addresses or applications due to security concerns. |
Throttling: | Stimulus Technologies will at time to time throttle bulk download traffic, such as large downloads, system updates and patches, or other non-time sensitive data transfers.

Affiliated Prioritization: | Stimulus Technologies will prioritize Internet traffic that is flagged as high-priority and low-latency over other traffic. Such prioritization may include Voice Over IP phone traffic to Stimulus VoIP services.

This prioritization is to ensure that interactive Internet usage experience remains high and other non-priority traffic is throttled to improve the overall user experience. |
Application-Specific Behavior: | Stimulus Technologies may block specific applications, such as VPN, torrent or other file sharing applications, that are known to transport illicit, illegal or materials that may cause copywrite violations.

Stimulus Technologies implements practices to protect its network, including firewalls, active intrusion protection system, anti-virus and anti-malware systems, and network monitoring. These practices are to protect Stimulus Technologies’’ network and not the network of the end user. It is essential that each user of Stimulus Technologies’ Internet service implement their own protection systems, including a firewall, anti-virus and other security protection. |

Each package is priced to reflect the particular speed and features of that package. |
Impact of Non-Broadband Internet Access Service Data Services: | Stimulus Technologies offers private site-to-site connectivity called Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) for business customers and Voice over IP phone service. This traffic receives prioritization on the network infrastructure and throttling and congestion management practices described above could be used to prioritize these services over Stimulus Technologies’ broadband access .
